Sadly, some of these pictures are a hoax. Here's a link to SNOPES debunking two of the pictures:

Jeeeez, of course it´s a hoax, look at ICELAND...it´s totally covered by ice/snow...are you kidding me??....Iceland´s mean annual temperature is 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees Celsius). Only 12-15% of Iceland is covered by ice/snow.

Although most of those are indeed fakes, the Iceland picture is one of the real ones! Here is the original from NASA -- http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=4191

Although it was from a satellite, not a shuttle astronaut.
